Come on in SPRING!! My arms are open wide to receive you. 😆 Spring is my favorite season. The Spring season excites me! I love the colors, the weather (day & night), smells, the bluebonnets (though I never get around to taking a picture in them, unfortunately) and just being outdoors.
The dress pictured above I bought from #oldnavy shortly after having my daughter in 2019, so that would make it over a year old, though this is my first time putting it on. This dress is a size XL. It was in my closet all this time and I didn't even have to iron it prior to the pictures #win. 💃🏽 It was soft, easy to put on and you can't go wrong with yellow. If we would have ended up going anywhere in the Spring of 2020 (aka the onset of Covid) this would've been a nice dress to step out in, plus my daughter had the matching outfit😍. This dress would have and will be a great choice for a casual night or Sunday service. Paired with heels or flats I am looking forward to going out in this dress from #OldNavy, soon.
This dress is last season too, but I have yet to wear it as mentioned above. Also, when I do shop, I try to buy items that can be worn over time. Eva Mendes with New York and Company, I think make their dresses just for me. I have this one and another dress from the Eva Mendes Collection and they both fit me so well. This dress screams SPRING!! I love it! It is long enough for my #6footframe, but for me, it required shape wear, because I like food, lol. This dress is a size Large.
For me, this is more of a dressy dress. I can't really imagine wearing this dress to work or on a casual outing. 🤷🏾♀️ Let me know what you think. Do you feel this dress could be dressed down/casual?
